Appointments

Our schedule is by appointment only, however if there is a patient in extreme pain, we will do what we can to accommodate you.  When you make it to the tennis club feel free to walk right in to our clinic and let our office manager know you are here. Show up at least 15 minutes early to assure that we have the necessary information completed before your visit. Each patient is given an estimated 30 minutes for their scheduled appointment with the Chiropractor and 45 minutes to an hour with the physical therapist, however we will monitor our schedule to make sure each patient receives the time needed to receive full treatment.

Initial Visit

Chiropractic

On your initial visit, you will need to fill out our online New Patient Form Let us know if you are coming because of a Motor Vehicle Accident claim or Workers' Compensation claim prior to your visit. These types of cases require more paper work than the typical commercial insurance cases.

 Physical Therapy

When scheduling to see our physical therapist, it is important that you are aware of the need for a doctor's prescription. You can get a prescription from your primary care physician, your chiropractor or dentist. Without a prescription, it is not legal for a therapist to treat you.

Follow-Up

You will be asked that you schedule a follow-up visit and treatment. This is for us to see how your body reacted to treatment and to ensure that we maintain the progress that was made on your initial visit. Because of the nature of ART and the soft-tissue work, your body will need time to recover from the initial visit. Follow-up visits are usually scheduled for 2-3 days after your initial appointment.

Dr. Kara Shull, the physical therapist, will ask you to schedule out your entire treatment plan according to your PCP's prescription. This allows you to be able to get the times that will work most conveniently for you, as well as insuring that you get the treatment prescribed by your doctor.

Future Visits

Chiropractic

In the matter of acute injuries, treatment plans vary. Ask your doctor how many visits he feels are necessary to help you fully recover from your injured state. Many of the exercises and stretches we give you--along with the products we sell, like foam rollers--are also meant to help you rehab on your own. If you really want to improve your current condition, it is important that you follow your doctor's orders.

As far as future visits are concerned, many of our patients simply call us when they feel they are out of alignment or could use a maintenance visit concerning a past injury. Depending on your unique circumstance, you may find it beneficial to be proactive with your care and schedule anything from once a week to once a month to stay ahead of potential injury.

Physical Therapy

You are given a prescription from your doctor that will tell you how many visits you are to receive. You should schedule these out after your first visit. The treatment plan may change as you progress, and the therapist will let you know if you should change any of your frequency.

Cancellations

We ask that our patients notify us at least 24 hours before cancellations. We do appreciate your communication if you have an emergency. If you are going to be showing up late because of traffic or unexpected schedule changes, please let us know immediately so that we can adjust our schedule accordingly. We do have a waiting list at times, and like to allow others the opportunity for treatment.
